Surface-set bits
Unlike Impregnated diamond bits surface-set bits are used in soft and medium-soft rock types such as limestone, clay, conglomerate, mushelkalk, sandboxes, peridonit and others.
Surface-set bits are made with natural industrial diamonds along the working surface of the tool. Diamond grains are placed in approved scheme which ensures longer tool life.
Possible particle sizes:
- 15-20 pcs per ct.
- 25-30 pcs per ct.
- 30-40 pcs per ct.
- 40-60 pcs per ct.
We produce surface-set bits with two types of stiffness matrix.
- HRC-25÷30
- HRC-30÷40
